What a wonderful reception Mark Sutton and I received at Oasis Church in the Daytona Beach, Florida area on Sunday, November 10th. Pastor Marcus Buckley introduced us in the two services. While Mark received a warm reception since he is an "elder" there, Bruce's reception was a bit "different"?
The day after LSU beat Alabama in college football, Bruce was introduced as a graduate of "LSU" by the pastor to much light hearted ribbing. At least, Bruce hoped it was light hearted and it proved so.
Mark and Bruce met dozens of people and heard amazing stories. They sold 45 books including a dozen or so of Bruce's fiction series. What a blessing to meet and greet fellow Christians suffering in this culture with the epidemic of depression. Thank you, church, and thank you Pastor Marcus for welcoming us with open hearts, open arms, and great love as Mark and I ministered to hurting people.
